Weekend is identic with the time to kids playing with their parents. Sometimes their parents are don’t have much time to spend their time on the weekend with their kids. May be because the place to play is too far, or too expensive. But now, don’t worry about it! Playing ground on PCR (Polytechnics Caltex Riau) can be one of your decision.

Playing ground on PCR, it is not only area to play but also already an object to play. There are so many choices kids to play, such as fishing, driving a mini car or a mini motorcycle, ride on bicycle, and many else. Do not worry about the safety, you can control your kids because the area is not too big. Well, when you feel hungry after playing with your kids or your family in this playing ground has already food store. There are many choices too to eat, such as bakso bakar, siomay, and the famous and the favorite one is kerupuk kuah. Kerupuk kuah is big chips that make from yams then a smear gravy satai and sowing with noodle. This taste is so delicious, well, may be in the other place you can find chip gravy but I am guarantee different place have a different taste.

Wedding is a sacral moment that make 2 families be 1 big family. Around the world must know what the meaning of wedding with different perception. In Muara Fajar, that majority with Muslim and Malay, have a tradition to invite the people who live near with the family that will celebrate a wedding party. They will get 2 invitations, first is unformal invitation.  The unformal invitation is mean the family who celebrate the wedding party, bring candies, cigarettes, sirih leaf, and whiting (kapur sirih) that put on the plate and wrapped by fabric. This tradition is really meaningful, because it means the family that you invited with this way is not only as your neighbors but also as the part of your family.

In day 1 before wedding party, the neighbors who get the invited with unformal invitation will come to the house that the party will celebrate in there.  They will help that family with cooking together, and prepare for all the wedding party. When you see this situation, it was not talk about helping with each other, but also talk about caring with each other. In this moment too, they eat together, laugh together, talk about many things and do anything that make their look like a family. May be it is tradition that only you can find in village area like Muara Fajar. Well, totally I like this situation. When you still talk or share food with your neighborhood and care with each other that you know around your hometown.

Keep modern-era but do not lose your tradition identity.

Street is the road that you will pass to go to one place, it may be a good street or only a walkway. Have you known about Yossudarso street? If you come to pekanbaru, Yossudarso street is the street that start from the siak bridge 1. This street is pass Rumbai, Palas, Muara Fajar, and the last is Minas. This street not only pass by motorcycle or car, but also bus, truck, and the other big transportation. For people who lived in Muara Fajar or Minas it was not unusual about this street, because too many story about this street.

Accident that happen on this street it must make victims, and so little hope to see the people who get the accident still alive. In 1 month, it must be 3 or 4 accident that happen on this street. From the 4 accident that happen, 3 people from that must be victims who die in this street. So, the street is never absent from the blood. Because of that the people who live in here call it “Jalan Panas” or the street that always create some victims.

Many reasons that make the accident happenings this street. First, the street was bad because the road it’s not balance with the transportation that passed on it. Next, is because the light is not enough and make distance to see was limited. And the last is the driver of big transportation who bring their transportation in high speed, especially the bus. They bring their bus like without rem.

So, be careful when you pass this street.
